The funny thing about NFL Sundays is, well anything can happen. Just ask the Chicago Bears. One could also ask the Kansas City Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Steelers and maybe even the Philadelphia Eagles. None of them were probably more stunned than Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, however.

Who knows what happened that caused the Miami Dolphins to terrorize Tom Brady in the 2nd half of last Sunday’s football game. Where were the Patriots that we are all used to seeing? If week 1 had any signs of how this season is going to play out, perhaps the upsets are going to keep coming, especially for New England.

Thursday Nights game is already in the books. Having predicted the Steelers to win, it would look like I am already 0-1 for this week. However that just goes to show the upsetting nature of this season. Just last week, the Baltimore Ravens looked like a team destined for mediocrity. Of course the Steelers did have to hold off a second half comeback from Brian Hoyer and the Cleveland Browns.

Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills 1pm
Both teams are coming off of upset victories. However, the Dolphins may have been more impressive than the Bills. The Patriots have not been a team to laugh at ever since Spygate, but that is another issue. As long as Tom Brady is under center you can’t count them out. Yet the Dolphins had found a way to get Brady on the run most of the second half and pulled out a convincing victory. Meanwhile the Bills traveled into Chicago and pulled off an upset overtime victory.
Prediction: Dolphins over Bills

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Washington Redskins 1pm
Jacksonville Jaguars might seem like a team to surprise many. In fact they were up 17-0 on Philadelphia before the old Jaguars seemed to resurface. As for the Washington Redskins, they seemed to have picked up right where they left off, including Robert Griffin III.
Prediction: Jaguars over Redskins

Dallas Cowboys @ Tennessee Titans 1pm
So the Dallas Cowboys had a rough week against the San Francisco 49ers. In fact, Tony Romo looked like the Quarterback that many have been calling him for years, despite his well off statistics. As for the Tennessee Titans, they might have just shown the world how fluke of a season the Chiefs had last year.
Prediction: Cowboys over Titans

New England Patriots @ Minnesota Vikings 1pm
Both teams were involved in an upset last week, just in an opposite manner. The Patriots lost to the Dolphins while the Minnesota Vikings shocked a lot of people with a dominant victory. The question is will the Patriots show back up and be who the experts say they are, or continue to be the team we saw last week against the Dolphins?
Prediction: Vikings over Patriots

Atlanta Falcons @ Cincinnati Bengals 1pm
The Atlanta Falcons look like they may be ready to show that last season was a mistake. However in order to keep on top of the AFC North, the Cincinnati Bengals will need to win at home this Sunday. These are two teams that seem very promising and could very well be playoff contenders come January. This is definitely a game to watch.
Prediction: Falcons over Bengals

Detroit Lions @ Carolina Panthers 1pm
Two teams that have the potential to be dangerous in the tough NFC Conference, this game should be anything but boring. This will be the first game that Cam Newton will be on display with his new receivers.
Prediction: Lions over Panthers

Seattle Seahawks @ San Diego Chargers 4:05pm
The Seahawks just got through dismantling one of the better offenses in the league. What kind of “doom” does that spell for the Chargers who have had three less days to prepare for this game than their opponents?
Prediction: Seahawks over Chargers

Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos 4:25pm
The Chiefs did not look like the team that made the playoffs last year. The Broncos looked like a team that is on a mission to redeem itself for whatever that performance was in the Super Bowl. Considering these were the two top teams in the AFC West last season, here is to hoping this game can provide some entertainment.
Prediction: Broncos over Chiefs

Chicago Bears @ San Francisco 49ers 8:30pm
The Bears should be mad at whoever made this schedule up. After being upset by the Bills in week 1, they now have to travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers? This is not looking like a good start for the battle for the NFC North crown. Meanwhile the 49ers enjoyed a great game against the Cowboys.
Prediction: 49ers over Bears

Philadelphia Eagles @ Indianapolis Colts; Monday 8:30pm
An inter-conference match up that pits two up and coming quarterbacks against each other. Nick Foles and Andrew Luck. This Monday Night action should be an actual good game. Hard to pick a winner.
Prediction: Colts over Eagles

Other Predictions:
Arizona Cardinals @ New York Giants 1pm
Prediction: Cardinals over Giants

New Orleans Saints @ Cleveland Browns 1pm
Prediction: Saints over Browns

St. Louis Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4:05pm
Prediction: Buccaneers over Rams

Prediction: Texans over Raiders

New York Jets @ Green Bay Packers 4:25pm
Prediction: Packers over Jets
