Draft Day: Team Positional Needs

Team Needs

Team Needs — [Excel Spreadsheet Format]

I planned for my first article to be about introducing myself and giving a projection of ranked Offensive Lines in the NFL in order from 1-32 from a fantasy aspect, but as I started really getting into the details of each team’s scheme and what they could do to become that dominant unit by drafting well, I realized it wouldn’t be groomed and explored enough to submit it before the Draft.  So, here I am.  What I’ve compiled above, after compiling multiple reviews and poll results, is a spreadsheet of Team Needs in order of highest priority to a much needed position filler with reminders of what both sides of the ball run as far as defensive formations and blocking schemes.

While you’re using it please take note that after round 2, columns 4-8 can be interchanged relatively easy as most teams start to wander towards drafting BPA (Best Player Available); example – I could see the Broncos taking a TE they thought would be gone in round 3 falls to them in round 4 or 5 instead of a DT/ILB.
