What to do now that Le’Veon Bell screwed us all

A couple of weeks ago, I released top-10 draft projection FFL Rankings for the upcoming season. This is what I wrote for Le’Veon Bell:

4 Le’Veon Bell – When this guy isn’t allegedly ducking drug tests and getting suspended by “Mr. No Fun” Rodger Goodell, he is an extremely versatile back who can dance. RavensNation I am sorry for point out two Steelers in the top-ten but who we got? Sometimes I feel like the younger, thinner, more attractive, Mike Preston, with all the shade that I throw at my own team. Times are hard in Charm City. Anyway, Le’Veon is worth the pick here in fact if he slides here, put your hands and fingers together and say “Excellent” (like Mr. Burns from The Simpsons).

What the heck do you do now?

I guess it is no longer alleged. It appears that pending an appeal, Le’Veon will be serving a 4-game suspension. Thanks a lot Le’Veon! Now, what are you supposed to do with the 4th overall selection in this year’s fantasy football draft? While he could care less about fantasy, he will be concerned with the $327,775 he’ll be losing over the next four games. I know you could equally care less about his woes. You need to know what to do now, right? I got you covered!

De Angelo Williams is a good investment, but at what spot do you pick up the 33-yr-old vet? After scoring 11 TDs in 2015, this gentleman has showed no signs of slowing down, but is he worth the 4th overall selection in your upcoming draft? I am going to say no. But he is still worth a top-ten pick. The former Carolina Panther will go at the 9th or 10th pick ahead of Allen Robinson and Thomas Rawls.

3 Possible Solutions

Ok, ok, ok! I’ll answer your question (what to do with #4 pick). At this point, Adrian Peterson, Rob Gronkowski and Odell Beckham Jr. are still on the board. I am recommending selecting AP simply because he is the next in line, and you’re going to need a “Bell-Cow” to handle the load for your team. As I mentioned in the podcast below, there is still work to be done after the first round pick is selected. You’re welcome! You can stop panicking and continue on with your draft. However is Williams somehow makes his way back around to you in the second round, DO NOT PASS HIM UP!
