3 questions for Ravens’ O on Sunday

Look Mom, no hands was the story of last week’s loss against the Cleveland Browns. Michael Crabtree was the first person the fans and even Crab himself called out after the loss to their division rival. But is it really all Crab’s fault? Is it really? I mean Joe Flacco did throw an interception at the Browns’ 1-yard line or did we all forget because we’re trying to make it appear as if this is Joe’s greatest season ever? Anyway, I digress. On to the Tennessee Titans. What are the questions for Sunday’s game?

Can Charm City’s O come back after a tough loss?

The Baltimore Ravens are about as resilient a bunch as any, and with so much on the line for the former SB MVP, they have no choice but to rebound. While there are media pundits out there that believe the rookie Lamar Jackson is not ready to start, another L under Joe’s belt no matter who is at fault will only bring the “We Want Lamar” chants to the forefront.

What’s more critical for Baltimore?

Yes, I know the Ravens’ current signal caller had 298-yards Sunday, but paydirt is supposed to be the forte of any franchise QB. You can put up numbers, but if you’re not getting your team into the endzone, there tend to be questions about your aptitude. Some of you are probably spouting off the fact that Joe is on pace for almost 5000-yards on the season, but the last two games are not helping his case. Currently, Joe has gone eight quarters without scoring a TD. Justin Tucker carried this offense during that time. Will the ground game get going? According to a post-practice presser, John Harbaugh said

“We have no intention of running the ball more, just better.”

The Ravens are 25th in the league in rushing averaging a subpar 3.4 yards-per-carry. Who is the lead back? is Alex Collins out of the dog-house with Harbs yet? Can the consistency with ground-game get back on track? Yes, I know this is more than 3 questions but whatever.

Who wins the day? Dean or Joe?

Tennessee has is tied for second through five weeks only allowing six TDs on the season. Will Joe add to the tally or will Dean Pees be able to clamp down on the Ravens’ Offense? Flacco and Crabtree have been getting in extra reps after practice. According to BR.Com, #15 has been putting in the extra work with the jugs machine as well.

Let’s hope all of the preparation will help the team pull out the W and hold off the boos this week.
